Bob Fleming said… - You are right in that it's strange myforexspace hasn't taken off more quickly bearing in mind the large number of retail traders out there. Seems the same reason explains the likewise relatively small number of members in the forex chat rooms.I usually have one or two forex chat room windows open on one of the monitors while trading - guess it's good seeing others out there hour after hour commenting/squabbling or whatever because trading from home can be a lonely business. Since there is such a tiny % of the retail trader population following forex chat rooms, and this new forex myspace,this probably indicates that for the massive majority trading is a very part time thing, and this surprises me because it's not that hard to trade as a full time occupation.
