This Post is a Response to David Campbells article "As the Market turns, So are the Days of our Lives"

This article was very inspiring as it created alot of thoughts and ideas I decided I would just write an article about the article. I want to thank Dave for such good work. I also get alot of questions about time frame and from now on I am going to send them to Daves article, well done. His work as made me a better trader and a better website owner.

He mentions in his article that hesitation kills traders because of missed opportunities and I completely agree with that statement. I would like to add that even though hesitation you can miss trades, if you do not have a repsect for the market and jump in too quickly with out understanding you will get hurt financially and make bad trades. So to have respect and a healthy fear of the market.

95% of traders will lose just do the opposite of them was a key point that Dave made in his article. That is not quite as easy as it sounds. I think the first thing you must do is to identify what actions they are doing and do the opposite of that.

I made a list of key mistakes that 95% of traders make.

•Most traders do not have a trading plan.

•Most traders do not practice money and risk management
•Most traders do not have discipline to follow their plan (if they even have one)
•Most traders do not have a strategy
•Most traders do not use stop losses or have profit targets
•Most traders do use a good risk to reward ratio ( keep losers small and winners big)

That list tells you why 95% of traders lose. If you just take this list and do these things that most traders do not and you will be on the right track.

Using right time frames and studing support and resistance levels is useful in your trading but if you don't have this list down you are not going to do well as a trader.
